WHAT IS A SPARTAN BEAST?

You'll train to run/hike a Spartan Beast this November in South Carolina designed to test your grit, strength, and endurance. This isn’t your typical run—it’s a challenge through wooded trails, featuring:

30 obstacles (carries, monkey bars, crawls, and walls)

Mud, sweat, and moments that stretch what you think you’re capable of
You’ll move through winding forests, over steep hills, and across raw terrain — all with a team who's built up to this day together.

The Trail to Transformation is a full training and coaching experience built to prepare you for a safe and successful race completion. With expert coaching, a structured plan, and a team of men leading each other to the finish line, you'll show up stronger, calmer, and more confident.

Follow a 4-month training plan designed to build your strength, grip, cardio, and obstacle confidence, ensuring you’re fully prepared to finish the race safely and successfully.

Get expert guidance and coaching by way of 10x bi-weekly group calls, where you’ll receive actionable advice, motivation, and strategies to stay on track.

THE TEAM
You're not alone. Train and race alongside a team of like-minded men who will inspire, encourage, and share this journey with you from start to finish.

THE CHALLENGE
Build up your ability to complete a 13-mile obstacle course race complete with monkey bars, rope climbs, and bear crawls.

THE LOGISTICS
Your lodging and transportation to and from the race is included and coordinated for you so your race weekend runs smoothly.

TOMMY GEARY
I coach high-performing men to gain focus, confidence, and hit hard-to-reach goals.
I’ve completed 7 Spartan races and have helped guys prepare mentally and physically to run marathons, obstacle course races and more. I’ve guided men on their first backpacking trips as well as their most difficult hikes, and know that when we have a challenge to work toward, we level up in every area of life. The benefits go way beyond the physical transformation.

CRAIG SPEAR
I’m a coach with a passion for tackling tough challenges and helping others do the same. From completing Ironmans to marathons and ultramarathons, I know firsthand what it takes to push limits and achieve the extraordinary.
I’ve coached clients to achieve their own incredible goals—everything from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to swimming across Lake Ontario. My approach combines expert training, mindset development, and personalized support to help people transform their performance as well as their confidence and belief in what’s possible.

DATES AND TRAVEL
- WEDNESDAY JULY 9: The training program kicks off with the first of 10 group coaching calls.
- SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13: RACE SIMULATOR #1 - To be optimally prepared for the race in November, you’ll work through multiple at-home obstacles. Think buckets of rocks, bear crawls, and pull-ups. This is the first big push that you’ve been building up to!
- SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25: RACE SIMULATOR #2 - This will be your second big challenge with the at-home obstacles before race day.
- FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14: First day to arrive in Charlotte, NC. Stay as a team at our AirBnB until Sunday.
- SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15: Travel as a team to the Carolina Spartan Beast and cross the finish line.
- SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16: Fly home.
